Services

An EOLD's role is to accompany the transitioning person and their loved ones through the final months, weeks and days of life. EOLDs provide holistic and personalized care to the dying person and their family; offering an invaluable resource for education, hands on comfort measures, planning, and friendship.

Although most begin to reach out to EOLDs when they receive a terminal diagnosis or enter hospice care, anyone who feels they are ready to approach this transition that we will all one day face; should reach out to an EOLD. I will meet with the transitioning person several times to help them with:

  • Emotional processing

  • Suggesting appropriate holistic comfort measures

  • Helping facilitate unresolved issues

  • Creating a legacy (remembrances)

  • Conducting vigil (so you will not be alone in your final moments) and to ensure that the people you want there, will be there

  • Making those phone calls that can be hard on family, if this is something you desire

  • Post-transition ritual - we will discuss the myriad of options that suit your desires; spiritual or otherwise - to honor you in the way that you wish to be honored

  • Early grief work and emotional support for your loved ones

  • Assisting in funeral arrangements or alternatives to this

  • Non-judgmental, personalized Spiritual support
